Warranty Policy

This Warranty Policy explains the warranty coverage provided by AussieRemotes.com (“Aussie Remotes”, “we”, “us”, “our”) and how to make a warranty claim.
1) Our warranty coverage
Unless otherwise stated on the product page, Aussie Remotes provides a 12-month warranty from the date of delivery for products purchased from AussieRemotes.com.
This warranty covers manufacturing defects and faults that occur under normal use.
2) What we will do (remedies)
If a product has a fault covered by this warranty, we will, at our option:
- Replace the product, or
- Repair the product, or
- Provide a refund or partial refund (where a replacement/repair is not available or appropriate)
3) What is not covered
This warranty does not cover issues caused by:
- Normal wear and tear
- Accidental damage, misuse, neglect, or improper handling
- Unauthorised modification, tampering, or repairs
- Damage from incorrect installation, incorrect programming/pairing, or use contrary to instructions
- Water or moisture damage, corrosion, or exposure to extreme heat
- Damage caused by power surges, incorrect batteries (if applicable), or incompatible equipment
- Problems caused by using the product with a non-compatible vehicle/device (including ordering the incorrect model)
- Items marked “Final Sale” or clearance where stated
4) Proof of purchase
To make a claim, you must provide:
- Your order number (or other proof of purchase), and
- A brief description of the issue
We may request photos or a short video to help diagnose the problem.
5) How to make a warranty claim
Contact us first and include your order number, the item purchased, and what’s happening.

We will respond with troubleshooting steps and, if needed, return/replacement instructions.
6) Returns for warranty assessment
In some cases, we may need the item returned for inspection/testing.
- If the issue appears to be a warranty-covered fault, we will cover reasonable return shipping costs or provide instructions/label (where applicable).
- If testing shows the issue is not covered (e.g., incorrect model ordered, incompatibility, misuse, damage), you may be responsible for return postage and/or any inspection costs (if applicable). We’ll let you know before proceeding.
7) Replacement items
If we replace your item, the replacement is covered for the remainder of the original warranty period
8) Changes to this policy
We may update this Warranty Policy from time to time. The latest version will be posted on our website.
