If the original STR-TCLAC12 remote has gone missing or stopped responding, this replacement is the simple answer. No codes, no pairing, no configuration. Pop in a pair of batteries, point it at your air conditioner, and you are back in control of the temperature, fan speed and mode settings straight away. It is a direct fit replacement for the STR-TCLAC12 handset used with the STR-18000WIFI air conditioner.
This aftermarket remote suits anyone whose original handset has been lost down the back of the couch, dropped one too many times, had buttons worn smooth, or fallen victim to curious pets or spilled drinks. The layout mirrors the original, so there is nothing new to learn.
